Transgender Rights and Youth Sports

       The debate on transgender and youth sports has skyrocketed over the years. People across the United States have mixed feelings about whether or not transgenders should be allowed to participate in sports with girls or boys. In South Dakota there has been controversy about the new bill restricting transgenders from participating in. Some may feel it is fair to restrict biological males, no matter how they identify themselves. Religious persons have strong beliefs against the LGBTQ. "Jesus says, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost,' so meaning that there is no rejoicing until all have found a place in the flock, including our trans siblings of faith," said Democratic state Sen.
